William (Bill) Sipple is Managing Director of HVS Capital Corp (HVSCC) with offices in Denverand New York City. In this capacity, he leads a team of professionals that provides a wide range of real estate investment services on an international level to institutional owners, private equity funds, special servicers, management/ownership companies, real estate investment trusts, developers, commercial lenders, investment banks and high net worth individuals, including:

• Investment sales and acquisitions of hotel properties and mixed-use properties;
• Capital markets advisory services assisting owners and investors in securing project debt and equity;
• Deal structuring, which includes assistance in the negotiations, financial analysis, due diligence, deal planning and closing;
• Business planning and investment analysis;
• Troubled loan workouts; and,
• Portfolio analysis and asset positioning.

Sipple has over 30 years experience in hotel development, finance, valuation and operations. Prior to joining HVSCC, he was President of Index Consulting Group. In this capacity, he arranged for, and coordinated the successful purchase of the Regent International Hotels luxury brand on a global basis. He also asset managed their hotel portfolio in the Americas and structured and negotiated a long-term licensing agreement with Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Before Index Consulting Group, he was Corporate Vice President of Development in the Americas for all full-service brands of Carlson Hotels Worldwide. In this role, Sipple led the team responsible for seeking, structuring, and executing owned, managed, franchised, or joint ventured opportunities for the Regent International Hotels; Radisson Hotels & Resorts; and Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts brands throughout North and South America, and the Caribbean. Under his direction, His team at Carlson executed over 220 agreements/acquisitions in the upscale and luxury segments.


He has worked as Regional Director of Development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide where his duties included product positioning for Westin, Sheraton, Four Points and Luxury Collection brands for the western United States. During his tenure at Starwood, Sipple was responsible for developing over $1 billion of assets including portfolio transactions, ski resorts, golf resorts, mixed-use developments, urban high-rise and luxury destination resorts.

Sipple also held Vice President of Development roles for Ramada Inns and Brookshire Hotels. Additionally, he led the Management Advisory Services practice for Pannell Kerr Forster’s Dallas office, where he developed and taught their national training course for all consultants.

Formerly, as a Certified General Appraiser, he appraised over $1.5 billion of hotel and commercial real estate properties, primarily for lenders, the FDIC and the RTC.
