Mr. Kliewer specializes in retail brokerage services for institutional and entrepreneurial landlords, tenants and property owners—from local
companies to multi-national corporations. Mr. Kliewer’s expertise includes site selection and deal negotiations for several national and
regional tenants. Mr. Kliewer assists with renewals, expansions and relocations as well as actively pursuing new tenants and buyers for
listing assignments. During his real estate career, Mr. Kliewer has completed over 500 retail transactions in the Denver metropolitan
market with a total consideration in excess of $300 million.
Extensive Denver central business district experience: Over 40 transactions completed since 2005 for notable 16th Street Mall
projects such as 1600 Glenarm, Denver Dry Building, Writer Square and Tabor Center.
Tenant representative transactions: Completed an excess of 215,000 square feet in the span of one year for retailers including
Panera Bread Company, Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply and National American University.
Ground up, new developments: Leased over 1.0 million square feet of ground up, new developments—The Landmark, Highlands
Garden Village, Lincoln Commons, Hampden Town Center; secured tenants including Target, Wal-Mart, Sunflower Market, Sprouts
Natural Market and Landmark Theater to anchor those developments.
Mr. Kliewer’s previous experience includes Vice President for the CB Richard Ellis retail leasing group. He began his career at Trammell
Crow where he was promoted four times during a seven year stint within the company.
