Professional Expertise
As branch manager of Studley’s Denver Tech Center office, Jim is a tenured real estate professional with more than 24 years of experience representing commercial tenants in the Denver area. Throughout his career, he has managed more than eight million square feet of transactions valued at over $900 million. With a client roster that includes such high-profile firms as Kutak Rock, The Anschutz Corporation, National CineMedia and CSG Systems, Jim has developed a reputation for developing and executing real estate strategies that stimulate profitability and align real estate to business goals.
His industry experience extends to numerous sectors including legal, financial services, telecommunications, engineering, and across a wide variety of office types, with a particular emphasis on headquarters transactions. Through his focus on comprehensive financial analysis and strategic consulting, Jim has developed economically sound real estate solutions for many national corporations and professional service firms. Before joining Studley, Jim was a senior vice president and principal at Staubach in Denver, consistently receiving the firm’s “Top
Achiever” designation and playing an active role in the firm’s national law firm practice group.
Activities & Achievements
Jim was named one of Denver Business Journal’s “Top 10 Commercial Real Estate Brokers” for the past nine consecutive years. He also donates his time to the Alliance for Choice in Education; a non-profit that focuses on improving educational opportunities for children.
Education
Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting at the University of Delaware and is a non-active Certified Public Accountant.
