Current Responsibilities
Mr. Schippits is responsible for leasing a variety of office buildings encompassing over 3.0 million square feet., and has personally completed over 550,000 s.f. of deals in last the year. Current clients include Brookfield Properties, LaSalle Investment Management, CB Richard Ellis Investors, Commonwealth REIT, Crow Holdings, and UBS Realty Investors.
Experience
In his career, Mr. Schippits has leased 25 assets that comprise over 9 million square feet, for 20 different institutional owners.
In July 2010, Mr. Schippits was named the Leasing Team Lead for Republic Plaza, the CBD’s most iconic office tower and the tallest building in the state of Colorado, and has raised occupancy of the 1.2M r.s.f. tower to 99%.
Prior to joiningJones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Schippits worked as a real estate, business and tax planning attorney for Gelt & Grassgreen P.C. a tax boutique law firm inDenver.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Schippits received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from theUniversityofColorado. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the Seattle University School of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law.
