As a Regional Vice President, Mark Bowen handles the acquisitions, development, and leasing of our Denver, Seattle and Phoenix regions.
Mr. Bowen brings over 25 years of experience in real estate and finance, for both the private and public institutional sectors. Prior to joining DCT Industrial Trust, Mr. Bowen was the Senior Vice President with the Laramar Group, a privately held, full-service, multi-family company. While there, he was in charge of their acquisitions, development, financing, debt and equity strategies, dispositions, and value-add opportunities in the Western United States. Mr. Bowen served as a member of the company’s Investment Committee and Executive Strategy Board. Before his work at Laramar, Mr. Bowen spent 15 years with General Electric Real Estate in various positions, the most recent of which saw him as the Western Director of Investments with profit-and-loss responsibilities for acquisitions, development, and joint ventures transactions. Directing a team with offices in Seattle, Irvine, and Denver, Mr. Bowen and his team acquired or developed retail, office, multi-family, and land properties throughout the western United States. Mr. Bowen also worked for GE as a Regional Director of structured debt equity and capital markets, as a National Portfolio Manager for a $3.2 billion portfolio and ten-member team, and as an Investment Manager and Credit Officer.
Mr. Bowen received his degree in Management from Colorado State University.
