Children's Hospital South Inpatient Facility - October 2, 2012
Description: Children's Hospital Colorado South Campus will be adding a new building in Highlands Ranch. This 170,000-square-foot facility will be located on the corner of Plaza Drive and Lucent Boulevard. The hospital will have 24/7 urgent care with 22 exam rooms for lower acuity patients, a surgery center with four operating rooms, an infusion center, laboratory services, imaging services, diagnostic services, outpatient clinic and inpatient care for acute care services. On top of these services available to the patients, there will also be a facility with a family hospitality area. A children's play area available for patients and siblings will also be available as well as a cafeteria/coffee shop for family of the patients. Once complete, this will mark the 18th project Saunders Construction has completed with Children's Hospital Colorado, including the Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Broomfield, Colorado.
