HI Kris, Loan Investing has been a wonderful strategy for my company over the last 5 years. I've been able to buy multiple loans in my own back yard from banks and sellers who had carried back a note. The returns have ranged from the low to high double digits with a high level of security (20 - 60 % LTV). The Denver Animal Shelter recently achieved Platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification.

The designation makes DAS the first and only animal facility in the country to achieve Platinum LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The shelter was completed in June 2011.

“This is an amazing accomplishment that shows not only our commitment to sustainability but also to the health and welfare of the animals at the shelter,” Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said in a statement. See details in CREJ's June 6 issue.
